Chapter 17: Saugat Bohara
Saugat Bohara is a sophomore at Pleasant Valley High School. At school, Bohara is involved in tennis and the cricket club.
In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his girlfriend, Madeline Patramanis, junior, and his teammates. Carson Sutherland, senior said, “I met Bohara last year, and I enjoyed getting to know him. We are still good friends this year.”
Family is important to Bohara. He has one brother who is 10 years old named Saurabh Bohara. His summer highlight from this past summer was taking a trip to England with his family, and they are planning to go again this summer. Bohara enjoys going to England to meet with his other family members and have a good time.
Bohara hasn’t always lived in Iowa, though. He was born in Nepal, and lived there for a few years. In addition to Iowa and Nepal, he’s lived in New York and Kentucky as well. Bohara has spent most of his life in Kentucky, which also happens to be his favorite place to live. He moved into the Pleasant Valley school district when he was in 7th grade and has lived here ever since.
At school, Bohara’s favorite subjects are science and history. When he thinks about his future, he plans on going to the University of Iowa. At the University of Iowa, he plans on majoring in physiology. However he isn’t fully confident in what he would like to pursue a career in.
Bohara is excited for his future at the University of Iowa. He hopes to be very involved in college, just as he is in high school. Borhara is going to continue to enjoy his last two years at Pleasant Valley and hopes to continue to meet new friends.
