In 2023, many popular artists will be making the trip to the Quad Cities for concerts and performances. This August, the prime concert location, The TaxSlayer Center, experienced a name change. All known concerts will now take place at the newly titled “Vibrant Arena”. The arena is home to the QC Steamwheelers and the QC storm, two local football and hockey teams.

Beginning in January, the newly signed Vibrant Arena will provide much entertainment for Quad City residents. Country artists will occupy a majority of the events scheduled, but all artists are well known.

Old Dominion

On January 21, the country band “Old Dominion” will be performing at the Vibrant Arena. Touring with the band are artists Frank Ray, Kassi Ashton, and Greylan James. With hit songs, “One Man Band”, “Break Up with Him” and “Song for Another Time”, the event is sure to be packed full of local country fans.

Tobymac

March 3 dates Tobymac’s first concert in Moline. He is an American singer, including most Christian rap and classic rock. His popularity has emerged recently with his well-known songs being released in the last few years. The lineup for this tour includes artists like CROWDER, Cochren & Co., Tasha Layton, Jon Reddick, and Terrian.

Journey

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Journey will be making the trip to Moline on March 21. Featuring rock band Toto and artist Billy Idol, the concert will showcase many popular oldies such as “Africa”, “Don’t Stop Believin’”, and “Any Way You Want It”. This event is sure to be loved by the millennials and generation x’s of the Quad Cities.

One Night of Queen

On March 24, this tribute band will be performing in memory of the Record-Breaking rock band, “Queen”. The band is composed of five outstanding musicians and artists; Gary Mullen, Billy Moffat, Malcolm Gentles, David Brockett and Jon Halliwell. The band has incredible reviews and will perform many well-known songs. The timelessness of Queen’s music makes this concert a must-attend for all.

Morgan Wallen

This April 28 concert is sure to be the most popular of all. Almost 6 months in advance, ticket prices began to soar, reaching insane prices for even the worst of seats. The event will be full of country lovers, there to see not only Morgan Wallen but his leading performers Ernest, Bailey Zimmerman and Parker McCollum. After making his debut on The Voice, Wallen has built himself up to be one of the most popular country artists of the century.

Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney concludes the events scheduled for the spring of 2023. With over 20 albums and 40 top ten billboard songs, Chesney will be performing many of his 32 Billboard Country #1’s. Kelsea Ballerini is another well-known country artist and she will be opening for Chesney in all of his events.
