Are we alone? Are there other life forms besides us out there? Theories, pictures and videos have resurfaced time and time again as this timeless debate has continued to entertain us for decades. Recently, Luis Elizondo, former head of the Advanced Threat Identification Programme (AATIP), released information that a potential threat of UFOs is “beyond reasonable doubt.”
There has been great speculation over Elizondo’s statements, as the Department of Defense insisted the AATIP was shut down in 2012. Secret footage was released showing US fighter pilots tracking an unidentified aerial object moving at speeds between 7,000mph to 8,000mph.
David Fravor, the fighter jet pilot that saw this aircraft, spoke out about what happened after the video was released. Fravor was able to come within a half mile of the aircraft. He says, “I literally chased the thing and it started to mirror us, it was like it became aware we were there. I cut across to see if I could get closer and it rapidly accelerated and disappeared. Within a matter of a second, it was gone.”
Fravor is trying to warn world leaders of the necessity of taking the UFO sightings seriously. “We all need to take these seriously as a species, because right now we don’t know the intent of these things; if they’re like ET, it’s great—if they’re like War of the Worlds, not so much,” says Fravor.
