How to be a Gentlebro

This is a question that has been asked numerous times, and now, the bros are going to shed some light on the answer. Many people find that being a bro is often derogatory and not something that is sought after by many young men. However, males need acceptance from other males, and to seek this acceptance, they need to be what society has deemed as “bros.”

Being a “bro” is not what a lot of people think it is. Many people find that being one is to resemble a player. They also think to be one requires one to be mean, not sensitive, and to care more about looks and popularity than school or their passions. This is simply not what a “bro” should be, though. A “bro” should be someone that hangs out with their guy friends. That’s all there is to it. To be a bro is to be a friend who is there when his guy friends need him.

This is something that is possible to achieve, but some guys find it hard to also be a gentleman at the same time. A gentleman is a guy that is nice and helps others out. In other words, he’s not an awful human being. Of course, there will be times when guys will be hanging out and joking around, but being a gentleman shouldn’t change that. Every guy knows when a joke goes too far. When that happens, don’t encourage the joke. Instead, a guy should just not laugh. Also, doing something nice, no matter how small of an act, can have a huge impact on someone else. So, try holding the door for someone or even just saying hi to someone when you see them in the hallway.

It’s not hard to be both a nice person and a person with a lot of guy friends. Just keep this in mind. When you make a fool out of yourself in a negative way, it also looks bad for all other guys. However, when you do something positive, it has the reverse effect.
