Chapter 73: Cally Thomas
Junior Cally Thomas has been going to PV since preschool but isn’t well known because of her shy character. Behind the scenes, however, she is a dedicated dancer, potter, and potential filmmaker.
Cally is a firm believer in learning new things, believing in yourself and that dedicated work, produces results. “I started dance when I was two or three years old,” Cally said, “I could never see myself doing the splits then, and even when my teacher told me I had to learn it I was nervous but after a month and a half of practice I was able to nail it every time.”
She started making pottery when she was younger and is an active member of the ceramics club at PV. She has even found a way to make money using her skills and sells her pottery creations that take her only a few minutes to make.
Cally is also a huge fan of stories and movies. Her father used to film videos all the time when she was younger and inspired her to take up the camera as well. Cally got adobe green screen and now makes her own short films whenever she has spare time, editing and filming everything herself.
She is also writing her own book about a girl going into a new world full of magical creatures and strange beasts and poses the reader a question of whether her adventures are a dream or not.
In the future, Cally wants to be either a cinematographer or a professional dancer and plans to go to the University of Iowa and then branch out from there. Cally is usually found doing schoolwork, dancing, studying or real-life mine-crafting.
