Welcome to Culture over Coffee, the Spartan Shield’s podcast where we talk about pop culture, new trends, and other news outside of the PV school district over a cup of coffee.

In this episode, Spartan Shield staff members Sarah Danielson and Kaitlyn Ryan grab a cup of coffee with two fellow PV seniors, Katie Henrickson and Isabelle Hotard, to discuss the recent reunion of The Jonas Brothers. The girls dish about their childhood crushes on the band members and quiz their guests with Jonas trivia.

Hello! My name is Sarah Danielson, and I am so excited to be a copy editor on the Spartan Shield this year. As an avid lover of grammar, I am ready to put my passion to use! I am involved in a number of extracurricular activities, including Model UN, band, choir, and jazz choir. When I am not at school, I enjoy playing board games, watching superhero movies, and spending time with my family and friends! Next year, I plan on double majoring in English and Political Science at an undecided university.

Kaitlyn Ryan, Student Life Editor

Hello! I am the Student Life section editor. One of my primary activities is band. My main (and best) instrument is clarinet, but I attempt to play alto saxophone in jazz band. I serve as the treasurer for our Model United Nations club. Outside of school, I am involved in Girl Scouts; I love volunteering at the camps each summer. If I am not doing homework or at an event for one of my activities, I enjoy spending time with my friends. Next year, I plan to major in Marketing at an undecided university.
