Three Easy New Year’s Eve Recipes

The new year is just around the corner, and if you’re throwing a party to welcome in the new year, the hardest part can be feeding your guests. If you’re scrambling to find last minute food ideas, here are three easy New Year’s Eve recipes that you can make that are bound to make your friends and family satisfied.

 

Sparkling Cake Balls:

 

Ingredients:

  • A package of white cake mix
  • 1 ¼ cups of sparkling white grape drink
  • ⅓ cup of canola oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 16 ounces of vanilla cake frosting
  • 10 ounces of white chocolate

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Grease a 13×9 baking pan and set aside
  3. Beat the cake mix, sparkling white grape drink, canola oil, and eggs in a bowl
  4. Pour the mixture into the pan
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes and cool for 30 minutes
  6. Crumble the cake into a large bowl
  7. Mix the frosting into the crumbled cake
  8. Place the mixture in the fridge for 3 hours
  9. Line a baking tray with wax paper and roll the cake mixture into small round balls and place on the wax paper. Freeze for one hour.
  10. Melt the chocolate in a glass bowl
  11. Remove the cake from the freezer. Dip the cake balls into the chocolate and place onto a tray.
  12. Cool and enjoy

 

Frozen cheesecake on a stick

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 store bought plain cheese cake
  • Chocolate magic shell
  • Sprinkles

 

Directions

  1. Slice cheesecake into triangles. Place a popsicle stick into the cheesecake and put it on a baking sheet with wax paper
  2. Freeze for 20 minutes
  3. Remove the cheesecake from the freezer and pour the chocolate magic shell over the cheesecake. Spread the chocolate over the cheesecake until the surface is fully covered
  4. Add sprinkles
  5. Let the cheesecake sit until the magic shell hardens and enjoy

 

Mini macaroni and cheese bites

 

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces of macaroni and cheese
  • ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups of crushed Ritz or Townhouse crackers
  • 6 tbsp of melted butter

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a mini muffin tin
  2. Melt the butter and pour into the crushed crackers
  3. Add the ½ cup of cheese into the butter and cracker crust mixture
  4. Press the crust into the mini muffin tin
  5. Make the mac and cheese and spoon the noodles into the muffin tin on top of the crust
  6. Bake for 15 minutes
  7. Let the bites rest for 10 minutes
  8. Remove the bites and enjoy
