Justin Clemons, "Failed It" Anchor
Justin Clemons is a senior at Pleasant Valley High School and is one of the anchors for the “Nailed it, Failed it” show for the Spartan Shield. After high school, Justin plans on majoring in Marketing at Iowa State. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family. He enjoys competing with his siblings in pickleball and wiffle ball during the summer. He also has fun working out and playing videogames with his friends. During the school year, Justin supports his sister and the girls basketball team by filming and keeping score of their games.
Kyle Almgren, "Failed It" Anchor
Kyle Almgren is a senior at PV and is one of the “Nailed it, Failed it” anchors for the Spartan Shield. Kyle’s favorite classes at PV include AP Physics 2 and Statistics. He participates in PV’s Finance Club, and runs Track and plays Baseball. Kyle enjoys watching Cubs games and supporting our High School athletic teams. His favorite courses at PV are Financial Accounting and Statistics. Outside of school, Kyle enjoys hanging out with friends and playing dek hockey. After graduating from PV, Kyle plans to attend a 4 year university to get a degree in finance. Kyle is looking forward to being a journalist for the Spartan Shield!
Luke Allaman, "Failed It" Editor
Luke Allaman is currently a senior at Pleasant Valley and serves as the editor of the *Nailed it, Failed it* video section for the Spartan Shield. He enjoys math and business classes and hopes to dual major in business analytics and finance in college. Through PV, he is involved with baseball, Wharton business challenge, and sports commentary. He was the commentator and analyst for the state champion PV girls basketball team and hopes to expand to other sports in the future. Outside of school he enjoys fishing and hanging out with his friends. Luke is very excited to be a part of the journalism team and hopes to grow it to its fullest potential!
