Mackenzie Fah is a senior at Pleasant Valley High School and serves as the Copy Editor for the Spartan Shield. Mackenzie is a part of the track and field and softball teams for the high school. Mackenzie’s future plans include continuing her academic and track and field career at the United States Air Force Academy while pursuing an intended degree in legal studies. Outside of school, Mackenzie enjoys reading, lifting weights and spending time with her friends and family.

Katie Haas is a Senior at Pleasant Valley High School and serves as the Photo Manager for the Spartan Shield. Katie participates in the school’s Wind Symphony, Girl’s Soccer Team, Social Committee and is president of Environmental Club. In her free time, Katie enjoys reading, baking, and spending time outside. She is most passionate about traveling and hiking and has visited 35 National Parks! After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Iowa with an intended major in Environmental Engineering.
