  1. Spending Too Much Time On Netflix

Whether it’s watching Friends, Orange Is The New Black, or Pretty Little Liars, many can say they are guilty of spending too much time watching Netflix. “I watch Netflix all the time. Before I know it, 4 hours have passed by,” said Rachel Hunt, a senior at Pleasant Valley. Chores and responsibilities are often forgotten about because it is fairly easy to continue watching a show that has all the episodes available. The best way to avoid this would be to deactivate the account during heavy homework.

  1. Sharing EVERYTHING On Social Media

A current trend for teenagers would be posting everything they are doing on social media. A lot of private information is shared and this can lead to potentially dangerous situations. That information is open to the public so it is best to refrain from posting one’s location.

  1. Chewing Gum Obnoxiously

So many people have a hard time keeping their mouths closed while chewing gum. This could lead to annoyed friends. “The sound of chewing gum just makes my whole body itch. It really bothers me,” said Srineha Gurrem, a senior at Pleasant Valley. Loud gum chewing triggers people fairly easily so it is best to avoid chewing gum. Another good way to avoid this would be to use mints instead.

  1. Sleeping With Makeup On

After a long tiring day, sometimes girls go home and just lay on their bed and fall asleep before taking their makeup off. This could cause major issues including eye irritation & infection. Breakouts are also caused by makeup so unless so it is important to remember to remove your makeup before falling asleep to reduce the chances of getting acne.

  1. Laughing Without Knowing Why

This is a major issue in our world today. People tend to smile/laugh at what a person has said without knowing what they said. This is often done to avoid asking what they said which could lead to awkwardness, and no one enjoys feeling awkward. To avoid this, always ask they other person to repeat themselves are just clarify what they said.

  1. Falling Asleep In Class

Admit it. Many people are guilty for falling asleep at least once throughout all of their school years. Staying up late or being exhausted causes may lead to having nap time during school. A good way to avoid this is to get to bed at a reasonable time every night and if the feeling of tiredness is upon you, go to the bathroom and and get a splash of cold water.

  1. Talking During Movies

People tend to leave all their conversations to when they get to the movie theatre. They usually don’t even talk during trailers but instead wait until the movie actually starts. This is very annoying to all the people around so please, do NOT talk during movies. The best way to avoid this would be not to go to the cinema to talk.

  1. Saying (Lol, Lmao, Brb) in person

People think they’re so cool if they talk in the texting language, face to face. It is certainly everything but (cool) to say LOL in person. To avoid this, try actually laughing when you think something is funny.
