Mau Sanchez Carmona is a junior at Pleasant Valley High School and currently serves as the Sports Editor for the Spartan Shield. At PV, he is a member of the Spartan band, ethics bowl team, and Spartan Assembly. Outside of school, he enjoys playing soccer at the high school and club level, his favorite team being Real Madrid. Mau also likes to volunteer his time with multiple organizations around the Quad Cities Area; he spends most summers as an active member of the National Hispanic Institute.
