Most competitive NA LCS season

The North American League Championship Series ended their season this week and are now getting ready for playoffs. These final games decided the schedule and bracket for playoffs starting on March 24, 2018. “This year all of the teams look like they could win the split,” said senior Callum Revell.

Certain teams in the NA LCS playoffs have different reputations to uphold such as TSM. TSM has won the last three championships, and they’ve never missed an appearance in the finals. “I just worry that TSM is going find their groove and win this split just like every year,” said senior Tyler Woolison. On the other hand, new teams such as Clutch Gaming, 100 Thieves and Echo Fox are all putting out stellar performances this split.

Even with a good record, Cloud 9 has not been performing as well as they did at the beginning of the season. Cloud 9 was the second seed two weeks ago and since then have only won one of four games. Cloud 9 will need to pick up their game if they are wanting to put up any fight towards winning this title.

With a large number of new teams coming this season a lot of fans thought that it would just sweep by former NA LCS teams such as TSM or Cloud 9, but it ended up being the opposite. The first and second seeded teams ended up being 100 Thieves and Echo Fox, two teams that are very new to the scene.

As playoffs begin, it is hard to tell who will come out on top this split. With powerful new teams coming to the scene and veteran teams with powerful rosters, it is almost impossible to predict the end of this season.
