Chapter 41: Trinity Malmen

Chapter 41: Trinity Malmen

Trinity Malmen is not the typical junior at Pleasant Valley High School. She has been involved in many school activities and extracurriculars both in and outside of school. Though she cannot say she’s played a sport like most others since her childhood, she has enjoyed finding her way throughout high school and has some big plans ahead of her.

Trinity has been dancing for several years now as she is a natural born performer. She is easy to get along with and cares deeply about her friends and family. Malmen enjoys spending time with her parents and two sisters, Montana and Sophie, especially through traveling. “I get the best of both worlds being a younger sister and an older sister,” Malmen said.

Early on in high school, Malmen decided to join the Stars Dance Team with her older sister Montana as a fun way for them to participate in school events. Malmen has been on the Stars Dance Team for two years now and has made strong friendships with members of the team. “My favorite part is dancing and performing with everyone and just having fun!” Malmen said.

Little did she know when she first started that just a few years later, she would become the co-captain of this impactful group and a true role model of the Sparkle Effect. Following in the footsteps of graduating captain, Haley Germain, Malmen looks forward to leading the Stars Dance Team next year and performing at football and basketball games.

Last year, Malmen joined Women in STEM at PV and has grown close to the other women involved in the group. “My favorite part is coding and learning about the different careers in stem,” Malmen said. “My dream job is a job where I can travel all over the world.” Although she doesn’t have a definitive career in mind yet, Women in Stem has introduced potential careers to Malmen that she plans on looking into.

As far as plans after high school, Malmen wants to go to college somewhere in Florida. With her ambitious plans to move down south and travel the world as part of her career, it is fitting that one thing on Malmen’s bucket list is to attend Fashion Week in New York! Malmen has a bright future ahead of her full of new adventures, exploring and traveling.
