Billionaires, the top one percent, the richest of the rich, the most successful people in the world have their own unique success stories. They came about their wealth in different ways, but they all have two things in common, they have mastered the art of consistency, and they love their job.
Becoming a billionaire is one of the hardest things to achieve. There are 7.7 billion people in the world and only 2,325 of them are billionaires. Now that’s really low, really low. These people belong to an elite class of individuals and 60% of them became billionaires themselves, meaning they didn’t inherit their fortune. That’s astonishing and shows that these people are truly special. In addition, the average billionaire is 63 years old, displaying the amazing amount of cunning, dedication, and, most importantly, consistency these individuals possess.
Nathan Tillman, freshmen, said, “Billionaires start businesses and create something new. Not everyone has the potential to do this. In order to be a billionaire, it takes a very exceptional person.”
If one can master consistency then they will achieve success. Why? Here’s an example, if you workout rarely, you won’t get into shape. Even if you kill yourself during those workouts, you still won’t get into shape, but if you workout every single day at a moderate level for your body type, you will get into shape. That’s the beauty of consistency. You still have to work extremely hard, but you don’t have to completely kill yourself to succeed. You just have to keep working and working and working until the day you make it.
Dwayne Johnson, famous actor, said, “Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come” on June 8th 2012.
However, truly successful people will never stop working. Think of Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Jeff Bezos. They could retire a million times over, but they continue to work. This is because they not only have master consistency but also because they love their jobs.
Steve Jobs, the producer of apple, said, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
Being billionaire takes qualities that very few people have. Many of these individuals started out with nothing and then rose to the top through their hard work. With consistency and their love for their work, achieving what they have achieved would have been impossible. Learning from these successful individuals will no doubt benefit everyone and may inspire them to change their work ethic.
