Summer Bucket List

Summer is a time to relax with friends and family; here is a list of fun activities to indulge in.

  1. Drive in movie: A fun time for you and friends to hangout and relax while enjoying a movie.
  2. Road Trip to Maquoketa Caves: Another fun activity for you and your friends if you’re okay with getting a little dirty and like seeing cool sights!
  3. Streetfest: Streetfest is a great way to spend your fourth of July with friends and family. Live music, games, food, and fireworks are all things to look forward to.
  4. Camping: There are many camping sites all over Iowa that you and your friends/family can drive to and spend the night or weekend. Great for people who like the outdoors.
  5. Riverbandits game: We are lucky to have a minor league baseball team so close to home. Going to a Riverbandits game can be a fun last minute idea for family and friends.
  6. MVF: Everyone enjoys when the fair comes around. You can expect rides, food, and concerts.
  7. Tugfest: Similar to MVF you can find rides, food, and live music.
  8. Boating in the Mississippi: Boating in the Mississippi is a classic summertime activity.
  9. Fishing: You can never go wrong with fishing, alone or with people you can always have a good time.
  10. Bonfire: A bonfire is always a reliable way to have fun with friends.
