The most common complaint in the Quad Cities is that there is nothing to do around here, but the opening of a new trampoline park can change that.
Helium Trampoline Park is located in Eldridge and is advertised on their website as being named “one of the 50 best trampoline parks in the world.” The park consists of over 100 interconnected trampolines, allowing kids to jump over an enormous space off the floors, and even the walls. They offer a variety of different activities, including trampoline basketball, trampoline dodgeball, jousting, and a jump tower. They also offer attractions off the trampolines, such as a laser maze and a hurricane simulator. In addition to using the trampolines for recreational use, they’re using them for exercise. Advertised as “coming soon,” they have an aerobic class for adults called “Airobics.” They combine jumping with cardio and core exercises, which will help you “burn 60% more calories than running.”
Jake Lentz, senior, went to the park on opening week and had no complaints. “There’s plenty of fun competitions you can do with a friend there,” he stated. “I liked everything about the place.” Lentz warned however that the place could get really hot and crowded at times.
Helium Trampoline Park has activities for all ages and a variety of friendly competitions to do with friends and family. This park is unlike anything we have in the Quad Cities and it will expand the variety of entertainment available here.
