2 – State run in 2020
The PV baseball team during this shortened season made an amazing run to get to state beating Burlington, North Scott, and then upsetting Iowa City Liberty in the sub-state finals. They ended up losing in the first round of state to Ankeny five to four.
3 – State run in 2019
This year, the PV baseball team had a lot of nail biters. PV had won the last 13 games heading into sub-state. In their second game of sub-state, they came back from a six run deficit and won by one. In the last inning of the sub-state final, PV ended up scratching out a win against Linn Mar by a game winning home run by Max Slavens.
4 – Visiting Coach Naber’s hometown
