Many feel classic books are slow or boring, but if the right book is found, the classics can be some of the best books to read. Here are the top 6 Classic books to read. 

 

1. Little Women

“Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott is a charming novel that depicts the humble lives of the March sisters. Set in 1860’s America, “Little Women” shares a beautiful take on feminism and the importance of love, family, and meaningful human connection. Filled with love, heartbreak and joy, it is a classic worth reading!

 

2. The Secret Garden

“The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett is a story of a young girl, Mary Lennox, who is orphaned and sent to 1901 England. She overcomes cultural barriers, and goes on new adventures. Readers watch Mary’s friendships grow in her new home resulting in a heartfelt and cute read. 

 

3. Jane Eyre

“Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte, follows the simple life of Jane Eyre. Jane navigates through the difficulties of being an independent woman in the 1800’s and an unconventional love story, “Jane Eyre” creates a connection between reader and character beautifully.
