Slime has become an online sensation for its unique texture and satisfying ASMR quality. However, some slimes prove to be better than others due to their superior qualities. Read on to find out how these slimes compare based on texture and aesthetic!

1. Cloud slime
   1. Cloud slime is regular slime that has been mixed with instant snow, creating a “cloudlike” texture. The instant snow causes the slime to expand and gives it a soft and airy feel. It is a highly stretchy slime, and it provides a unique sensory experience because no other slime feels the same. It can be customized with different scents, colors and different add-ins, including glitter and different charms.

1. Butter slime
   1. Butter slime is created by mixing air-dry clay into plain slime. It is recognized for its smooth and spreadable texture, and it is one of the most durable slimes. It holds its shape well and doesn’t dry out as fast as other slimes, making it the perfect slime for those looking for a buttery feel!

1. Iceberg slime/wax slime 
   1. Iceberg slime is made by leaving fluffy slime out to dry for a couple days; it creates a texture on the top layer that is crunchy and resembles ice, while the inner layer is smooth and stretchy. The combination of textures can be satisfying for stress relief and create fun!

1. Clear slime
   1. Clear slime is created with clear glue as opposed to standard white glue, giving it a different appeal. It is transparent, which makes it great for adding in beads or different colors. The texture is smooth and stretchy and more gel-like compared to regular slime.

1. Fishbowl slime
   1. Fishbowl slime has a unique, crunchy texture and sound. It uses the simple base of regular slime but the addition of beads forms the “fishbowl” aesthetic. Overall, the crunchiness of the slime earned its fifth-place ranking.

1. Clicky slime
   1. Clicky slime has a glossy and light texture to it. It is simple but interesting to use for ASMR. It ranks sixth because it has a boring texture but satisfying ASMR clicks.

1. Fluffy slime
   1. Fluffy slime is the interesting version of regular slime. The only difference between the two is the addition of shaving cream. While fluffy slime may have satisfying ASMR sounds, the texture and aesthetic do not compare to the top-ranking slimes on this list.

1. Regular slime
   1. Regular slime takes the bottom of this list. In comparison to the other slimes, it has the plainest texture and look. It is the classic option, but it is not as satisfying to play with in terms of the other options.
