As a highly disputed topic amongst the running community, the socks you choose to run in can either boost your aura or hinder your jaunt. I am here to put all of the misinformation to rest, and give you the real top five brands of running socks.
1. Bombas
Bombas are the type of sock you’ll mistake for clouds under your feet. This brand wins best running sock by a mile and it’s not even close. The sock has the perfect amount of thickness to not be too thin or too heavy. They also have many great colors making it aesthetic.
2. Features
At number two, this is a mildly controversial pick. Many claim features are the best running sock ever created, while I agree that it is an exceptional brand, ranking second on the list is a good fit for this sock. Features have a very soft texture, but compared to Bombas they tend to wear down faster, bumping them to number two.
3. Swiftwick
As more of a lowkey brand this sock is less heard of, but nonetheless a great pick for your next run. The sock is soft and won’t cause any issues with blisters that some other brands might. The only drawback is that this sock is a bit uglier than the rest.
4. Saucony
Known for fantastic running shoes, the sock line of saucony is not half bad either. These socks come across with a very clean look and Saucony offers a variety of different colors. The sock also has a great texture underfoot and is not likely to lead to any issues on your weekly long run.
5. Nike
At the bottom of this list is Nike. While it is a decent sock, compared to other brands it is lacking the same level of comfort as the other options on this list. Nike has a lot of different texture socks, and while their standard cotton socks are not the best, they do have some good options for race day if you are looking for something thin and lightweight.
A good run requires a great pair of socks, and it’s important to choose the right pair. Hopefully these rankings will help you to make the right choice for your next run!
