- 30
After a six year hiatus from music, Adele reemerged in 2021 with the release of her latest album, 30. Focusing on the struggles of marriage and divorce, her album embraced her struggles as a wife and mother. However, she had set expectations so high with her previous albums that superseding such expectations was extremely difficult.
- 21
Released in 2011, 21 is difficult to distinguish from her later album, 25, due to their similar lyrical style. The only reason why this is ranked lower than 25 is due to its lack of 10/10 songs in comparison to 25.
- 19
Often overlooked, 19 was Adele’s very first album. Its varied lyrical nature explores a combination of indie folk, jazz and pop music that offers listeners with an interesting array of music. Though it lacks the recognition shared by the rest of her albums, Adele’s 19 was, and still is, a global success.
- 25
Released four years after 21, Adele’s 25 highlights her feelings of nostalgia and envy of the past. As one of her most successful albums, 25 won album of the year and best pop vocal album, amongst other awards at the grammys.
