As spring and summer approaches, many people enjoy receiving flowers to help brighten up a space. However some flowers are better to receive than others due to their longevity and simply how they look. Here’s a list of some of the best flowers to give someone/or to receive.
- Tulips
As a classic springtime flower, these are an iconic staple in their home country, the Netherlands. These flowers come in a wide variety of colors and can be found at multiple different locations. In a vase, these flowers can last over a week and are sure to brighten someone’s mood.
- Carnations
These flowers are oftentimes seen as original and basic, they are still very beautiful. - Peonies
Normally these flowers can be a little more difficult to find as they don’t bloom until late spring, however these flowers sure do make a statement within a space. What may look like a rose to some people is actually a very unique flower called a gardenia. Many people like to receive these because of the sweet smell they give off and depending on the species, it can be very strong as well.
