Sherry Tang, Arts and Entertainment Editor
Sherry Tang is a Senior at Pleasant Valley High School and currently serves as the Arts and Entertainment Editor on the Spartan Shield. At PV, Sherry has enjoyed leading the Art Club as the president, playing trombone and conducting in band, playing tennis, and being a member of A Positive Place Club. As an artist, Sherry creates surrealist paintings, illustrative original characters, and light hearted animatics. In her free time, she loves going to concerts/music festivals and getting way too into TV shows. Sherry can’t wait to write, draw, and collaborate with her staff members for the Shield!
Alex Jones, Student Life Editor
Alex Jones is a senior at Pleasant Valley High School and is currently the student life editor for the Spartan Shield. Alex is an active participant in PV’s choir program and is currently a part of the Chamber choir and vocal jazz. Along with voice, Alex is a skilled pianist and composer. After graduation, he plans on pursuing composition at a conservatory.
