Fast food or fake food?

Pizza on the go is the new idea for McDonald’s. This new menu item, called the McPizza, was first introduced in Canada and is now found at a few locations in the United States.

According to today.com, “Customers are loving the new idea of having pizza at McDonalds. Everyone is on the search to find where it is at.” The McPizza isn’t going to be at every McDonald’s; many are still in the testing period.

Spencer, West Virginia is one of the places in the United States already serving the McPizza. Many college students are posting pictures eating their McPizza after the long road trip they just took to enjoy one. One location selling the McPizza closer to the Pleasant Valley area is on the Ohio River.

Does the McPizza really belong in the fast food industry? According to brg.com, “The Mcdonald’s staff will have your pizza ready for you within 5 minutes from ordering it.”

This is old news for the people who live in Canada, where they have been serving pizza at McDonald’s since the 1980’s. However, this trend is just beginning in the United States. Fast food restaurants are now trying to offer healthier choices, but are they really healthy?

The fast food industry is growing and so are the choices of unhealthy foods.

The choices students are making by purchasing these fast foods won’t help them in the long run. As students of Pleasant Valley are becoming young adults, making decisions is also becoming even more important. The foods people eat are important to their lifestyles, and healthy foods are the best to be consuming. According to Heathlychildren.org, “To help keep teens bodies healthy, it is important to drink enough water during the day.” Try to eliminate the amount of pop products many are consuming while at these fast food restaurants when water can help our bodies.
