Jordan Buckley, Copy Editor
Jordan Buckley is a Senior at Pleasant Valley High School. This semester, she holds the position of Copy Editor for the Spartan Shield. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, watching television, and reading. Buckley’s favorite books are: “The Goldfinch”, by Donna Tartt and “Howl’s Moving Castle”, by Diana Wynne Jones. Her favorite television show is “Killing Eve”, and she enjoys watching nature documentaries. Jordan has two younger siblings: Gabriel, three, and Layla, thirteen. She has two cats: Mr. Teddy, an American Shorthair, and Buffy, a Domestic Longhair. She works at Hyvee in General Merchandise to earn and save money for her post-secondary education at Iowa State University. She plans to earn a four-year degree in Environmental Science so that she can pursue a career as an Environmental Scientist. Buckley is excited for her opportunity this semester to collaborate with, and to share her ideas with her peers. She hopes that she can help improve Pleasant Valley High School through her ideas and writing.
