Volkswagen has announced that they are in the production process of bringing back the Microbus. The famous car model is used in “Scooby-Doo” as the Mystery Machine. The New Microbus or Microbuzz will run off of battery power and will also be self driving. It will have a range of about 270 miles and will be able to go from 0-60mph in five seconds, putting all 369 horsepower from the front and rear motor to work. When the car is put into self-driving mode, the steering wheel will tuck into the dash board. The two front seats will be able to turn around and allow for a center table to form in the middle of the car. The two back seats can be changed to a foot rest or even transform into a bed in order to down in the back. Volkswagen kept the same exterior look as the 1950s 160s model but also put a futuristic spin on it.

Production of the car is planned to start by 2020 due to the lack of technology there is for it now. Volkswagen plans on having the car out in showrooms and for sale by 2022-2024.
