Go to the pool- If you don’t happen to have a pool or a friend with one, there are plenty of other options. The two main country clubs in the quad cities, Crow Valley and Davenport Country Club, offer amazing pools. But don’t worry, there are plenty of public pools and a new water park has been in construction where the old splash landing was. It’s hopeful to open on memorial day.

Go to a flower field- Going to a flower field is the perfect spot for some summer photos. Located on a super cute farm in Donahue filled with flowers all around, Miss Efies Country Flowers is guaranteed to make for a fun time. You can even purchase your own hand picked flower buckets.

Go to an amusement park- Though roller coasters may be thought of as a kids activity, going with your friends now is still so fun. There are six flags locations in Chicago and an Adventure land in Altoona. But more locally there is Malibu Jacks in Bettendorf, an indoor amusement park with lots to do.

Go golfing- Golfing can be something fun for all ages. Either at a range or course, some places to go are Palmer Hills and Rock Pile. Additionally the brand new Iron Tee is open, which is similar to the top golf experience but right here in Bettendorf.

Go to concerts- Located in Grant Park, the four day music festival, Lollapalooza, is too fun. Chicago hosts some of the most popular current artists but if looking for something more child friendly, Mississippi fair offers not only a vocal performance every night but also carnival rides.
