The smartphone industry is evolving. After about 10 years of smartphones just basically increasing in size, Samsung has taken it upon themselves to change the way that we see phones. Just like the inventor of the smartphone changed the industry, Samsung is looking to do the same with the creation of their new flexible smartphone. There is no set date for a release, but Samsung has said they would like to have them out in stores ready to sell by early 2017.
There are many unclear things as to the specific details of the phone, such as how to charge it and if there will be a headphone jack. But, one thing is known and that’s the technology they are using to try to make it work. Samsung and Microsoft are working together on a technology that will make any kind of surface a holographic computer, and they will try to apply that technology to the phone. Many people are looking forward to seeing the creation of new technology and finally be able to hold it in their own hands.
