Pleasant Valley volleyball kicks off the 2016 season victorious! On Tuesday the varsity girls won three of four matches. The sophomore volleyball team also started off the season well by winning five of their six games played, including two home games and a four game tournament.
The volleyball teams have been hard at work on their team-building skills. Alyssa Paulson, sophomore, stated “I hope that it continues to bring us closer as a team. It has already helped a lot.” They have also practiced a lot this summer in preparation for a great season. Volleyball coach, Amber Hall, explained “Each day they bring their love for the game and passion to improve as an individual and as a whole. These girls are determined to meet their goals of winning the state title this year. I know they will achieve it!”
In order for Spartan Nation to continue to support the volleyball team, Athletic Director, D’Anne Kroemer says students can be supportive by “being in attendance, being positive, and cheering at all fall events.” Let’s help the girls reach their goals of winning state by cheering loud at the next varsity game on Tuesday at Central!
