Spartan’s favorite holiday Coffee Hound drinks

1. Eggnog Latte

When the holiday season rolls around, many people cannot wait for the arrival of Coffee Hound’s real eggnog latte. This latte makes those who drink it feel a seasonal warmth. 

2. Peppermint Mocha

This holiday classic can be made in three different ways at the Hound and is enjoyed in its various forms. 

3. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

This sweet caffeine-free drink is enjoyed by many Spartans when the weather gets chilly. 

4. The Grinch Energy Drink

This energy drink, inspired by the popular Christmas movie, packs a punch for those who are a ‘grinch’ when it comes to coffee drinks.

5. Pumpkin Cheesecake Latte

Throughout the fall and winter season, this sweeter cousin to the Pumpkin Spice Latte can be found in the hands of the student body.

6. Candy Cane Latte

The Coffee Hound twist on the well-known holiday candy allows those who drink it to feel as though they have a candy cane in hand. 

7. Merry Mashup Energy Drink

This energy soda combines all of the popular flavors of the holidays into one drink.

8. Snowflake Latte

A unique flavor for a latte, the snowflake latte combines sweet coconut and white mocha flavor with a hint of peppermint, a perfect warm drink for winter weather.

9. Peppermint Patty Frappe

This frappe that includes chocolate, chocolate chips, and peppermint is a perfect cold drink for any time of the year, but especially for the holiday season. The drink is topped off with a peppermint patty, hence the name.

10. Salted Caramel White Mocha

Salted caramel makes another appearance on the list when mixed with white mocha it makes a sweet drink that is served best warm.

Ava Sorgenfrey is a senior at PVHS and the current Sports Editor for the Online Spartan Shield. Not only a proud member of Spartan Nation, she is also a barista for Coffee Hound and enjoys spending time drinking coffee and hanging out with her dachshund, Dragon. She lives with her mom and younger brother Max, who is an eighth grader at PVJH. Ava loves being apart of the Pleasant Valley Girls Track and Cross Country Teams and spends much of her free time running with her family and friends. After her high school career, she hopes to continue running in college, but has not yet decided where. She also enjoys sewing, her speciality being scrunchies, which she makes for herself, family, friends, and people all around the PV community. Ava is looking forward to a fun-filled senior year and cannot wait to share about the happenings of Spartan Nation through the Online Spartan Shield!
