Sometimes students will feel upset and need a good song to cry to, so here are a few.
Sometimes listening to happy songs when sad doesn’t really help and could cause more and more tears. So listening to ‘sad’ songs might make your mood a little better and you could possibly find your new favorite song!

Ilah Perez-Johnson, a senior at Pleasant Valley, is very involved with athletics. She has played volleyball all four years of High School and was an essential player on the State Volleyball team this year. Perez-Johnson is a captain of the basketball team and a thrower for the Track and Field team. Last year she was the MAC champion in the shot put and participated at the State meet. After High School she will continue her volleyball career at the University of Cornell in Mt. Vernon where she will major in kinesiology and minor in psychology to pursue a career as an athletic trainer or physical therapist. Outside of school, Perez-Johnson is involved in club volleyball and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She has lived in many different places including Texas, Hawaii, Belgium, and Iowa. Her favorite shows on Netflix are Vampire Diaries, Grey’s Anatomy, and You and her favorite place to travel is Paris, France.
