Owen Gannaway

Owen Gannaway, Sports Editor

Owen Gannaway is a senior at Pleasant Valley High School and the Sports Editor of the Spartan Shield Online. Owen is entering his fourth season playing soccer and helped the soccer team get their first state championship in school history last year. The soccer stud contributed numerous minutes on the field and still maintained excellent grades in the classroom to receive All-academic honors. After graduating high school, Owen plans on continuing his academic and athletic careers at St. Ambrose University. He hopes to have a great college experience while entering the Physical Therapy program and playing on the soccer team. Outside of school, Owen is seen making sandwiches at Subway and keeping the business up and running. The busy man does not have much free time but when he does, he prefers to pass it by watching movies, working out and being with his friends. Owen is thrilled to be working for the Spartan Shield and can not wait to contribute a great amount to the team!
